In an effort to reach more people the I have been granted the opportunity to be a lecture at the College of Sport and Fitness. I have been lecturing there for the past year and it is an incredible experience. I teach some subjects like Certificate 3 and 4 in fitness, Anatomy, Sports Nutrition and certificate 4 in Sports Coaching just to name a few.

This new adventure is allowing me to understand a lot more information on the human body and how to teach it to many different people.

Sports Specific Industries is happy to announce that we have a Smart Phone App now available.

All information will be given through this communication pathway. Once you have registered notifications will be sent directly to your phone. For example if training is cancelled for any reason this is a quick and easy way to get the information out you.

Please follow the brochure on your left and you will be registered in no time.

Also there are other things on the app that are at your disposal, information like sheets on stretching and other things will be uploaded as time progresses. Doing my masters grants me to a wealth of information and i would be silly to keep it from anyone!!!!!!

Don't be hesitant to approach me any time and ask questions.

Never forget everyone is constantly learning!!!!!!!

SSi's Friday Night Football Clinic.

This clinic is available  for football players from the ages of u6's to u11's, but we do accept u5 as well. It is a great way to involve your child in the team sport, football. It is ideal for social interaction as well as discipline, fun and most of all learning the basic's of football in a semi professional environment. You are able to join at any time as a roll call is performed every session and your ten weeks is calculated accordingly.

Our first priority as football coaches at SSi, is to make sure that the players at this fragile age  have fun experience's when playing football. There are no score's and games are engineered around the basics of good technique, the physical demands and the fun of football. We teach these aspects in a structured, fun and easy learning atmosphere. As the players progress through the 10 weeks at the clinic the sessions become a little bit more difficult according to the ability of the squad. The teachings at the SSi Friday Night Football Clinic come from my coaching experience's overseas.

I have been very lucky to experience football in many different countries throughout the world. During these coaching tours I was actually allowed inside some of the most successful clubs that have graced the game, and transformed it to what it has become today.  Some countries/cities/clubs include Spain with FC Barcelona, Real Madrid FC, RCD Espanyol,  Malaga FC and Rayo Vallecano .  On this tour I was lectured on FC Barcelona and Real Madrid FC's training methodology and their game systems for 6's to 13's. We were also able to have observational sessions with these age groups. I stayed in the RFEF, (Real Federacion Espanola de Fubol - Royal Spanish Football Federation), where the Spanish national team train and play out of. During this time I was allowed to observe Spain's national coaching program being administered to their young and up coming footballers age's u5's - u13's.

Another coaching tour which I was involved in included such countries/cities/clubs as Holland, Netherlands with Ajax, FC Twente, FC Groningen, AZ Alkmaar, FC Utrecht and VVV Venlo. Belguim, Brugge, Club Brugge KV. England, London, Tottenham Hotspur. On this coaching tour our boys, u18's played against each team mentioned above culminating in 6 of our 15 players being offered academy contracts to stay on in that country to train and play.

The Friday Night Clinic is a platform for me to give my knowledge and expertise to the young and up and coming footballers at our grass roots level. Hopefully providing them with an insight how in to hard work, discipline and fun in football can pay off.
